Does everyone, upon returning from the dry, dizzying, mile-high air of Colorado to the sticky flatness of the Midwest, feel like they've fallen? Like the skyline just doesn't inspire and the boys are all the same?
Josie, I was just thinking about this -- the Flatness of the Midwest -- the last time I was in New York. Even though the skies are rarely blue, at least there is a landscape, beautiful and shapely, against the horizon.
Oh, to be a Midwesterner! Hating it and loving it, as if bound by birth.
Your picture is lovely, by the way. (And I prefer the term: creeptastic.) (And we're officially linked.) (Creeptastic?)

I don't know, but I was starting to think you were never going to post another blog.
